November 12, 1965 at 11:10 o’clock. He was married to Della Lawrence, who
survives him. Also, surviving are one son, Ewing Lawrence, Vienna; five
daughters, Mrs. Velma Maynor, Mrs. Irene Fritch and Mrs. Ruth McKibben all of
Glendale; Mrs. Alene Sistler, Rockford, IL; and Mrs. Ruby Humm of Golconda; a
brother, Dr. Lawrence, Chicago and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services were held
Sunday afternoon in the Glendale Methodist church with Rev. Tom Richards and
Rev. W. L. Cummins officiating. Mr. Lawrence served Pope County as county
commissioner. He was a retired merchant and farmer. Aly Funeral Home was in
charge.
