Erwin Gerlach, son of Peter Gerlach, drowned.

A sad case of drowning occurred at Kiel on Wednesday. Erwin Gerlach, the nine year old son of Peter Gerlach, was crossing the Sheboygan river on the ice and stepped into an air hole. The boy did not return to his home for dinner and a search was made for him. His body was discovered in the river and taken to the home of the heart broken parents.
