Bill Jamar

Bill Jamar, 61, died at home, 406-9th SW, Thursday at 4:45 p.m. He had been a bois d'arc post broker the past 15 years.

The funeral, Saturday at 4 p.m., will be conducted at Fry Gibbs chape! by the Rev. D. W. Watson of East Paris Baptist Church, and interment will be made in Rockford Cemetery, southeast of Biardstown.

Son of the late William Richard Jamar and the former Cora E. Townsend, Bill Jamar was born at Nelson, Okla., August 20, 1898, and the family moved to Paris when he was 15 years old. He was a member of Rockford Presbyterian Church, and a World War I veteran. He married Miss Mollie Legate, January 1, 1921.

Besides his wife, survivors are these children: Mrs. C.L. Carter, Mrs. A. W. Russ, Mrs. J. H. Blankenship, Mrs. L. R. Raper, Robert Jamar and Jack Jamar, all of Paris; 12 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. A. L. Gunn, Paris, and Mrs. Charles Wilson, Alexandria, Va.
