McMinnville resident and Warren County native Willie Benton McBride, 95, died Jan. 20 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.

A homemaker and a member of Armstrong Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Crutcher and Nancy Jane Jones Green; and was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McBride, in 1992; daughter, Omega Aloi; son, Glyen McBride Sr.; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters, Christine Needum of Denton, Texas, Katherine Bottoms, Joyce Matheny and Jeri Hillis, all of McMinnville; sons, James McBride of Rock Island and Richard Rogers of Krum, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at High's Chapel with Donald Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High's.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
