McMinnville resident and Warren County native Glyen Delton McBride, 69, died March 22 at River Park Hospital.
A retired nurseryman and carpenter and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Willie Green McBride of McMinnville and the late Ernest McBride; and was preceded in death by sister, Omega Aloi.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Powell McBride; sons and daughter-in-law, Glyen Delton McBride Jr., Hervey and Donna M. McBride and Tony McBride, all of McMinnville; granddaughter, Lynessa McBride of McMinnville; step granddaughters, Brandi and Amber Hale of Crossville; great-grandson, Tristin Dawson of McMinnville; brother, James McBride of McMinnville; sisters, Christine Needum of Denton, Texas, Katherine Battoms, Joyce Matheny and Jeri Hillis, all of McMinnville; special nephew, Richard Rogers of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at High's Chapel with Carl Crawford and George Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.today and 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
