Erwin Duerrwaechter, 43, of Howards Grove, died Wednesday afternoon after a lingering illness. He was born Jan. 14, 1913, near Kiel, the son of Ernest Duerrwaechter and Lydia Berg. He had been in ill health most of his life.
Survivors are his parents of Howards Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Irmgard Sprenger of Millersville, Mrs. Roman (Norma) Kalk of Rt. 1, Cleveland, and two brothers, Edgar and Harry, both of Howards Grove.
Private funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. John Gerber, pastor of Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed Church, Sheboygan, will officiate and burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday until the time of services.
