Born March 26, 1911, Salt Lake City to William M. and Harriet E. Dye Swan. He married Margaret B. McEwan, August 3, 1942, Richfield, Utah. She died December 17, 1984. He was retired. Served in World War II, Army Air Corp. Member, LDS Church.
Survivors: children, Barry D., Barbara G. Iwaniec, Tracy J. Kane, all Sandy; Russell D., Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services Thursday, January 19, 1989, 11 a.m., Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine St. Friends may call one hour prior to services at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East.
