Funeral services were held at Haynes and Roeder Funeral Chapel in Omaha Monday afternoon for Wilmer Christensen, 64, a former resident of Wolbach.
Mr. Christensen passed away Friday morning in an Omaha hospital. He had undergone surgery about three weeks ago and had appeared to be recovering.
Interment was in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
Mr. Christensen was well known in this community, having been in the barber profession for many years prior to moving to Omaha where he still continued in this business.
He is survived by his wife, Lily; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bryer of Omaha and Mrs. Naida Forsythe; four grandchildren, all of Omaha; three brothers and two sisters. One son, Duane preceded him in death, succumbing two years ago.
