North - Kathleen Betsill Culler, 102, of North, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005, at North United Methodist Church with Rev. Samuel Warwick officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Mrs. Culler was born in Union, S. C., a daughter of the late David Shelton and Mary Moore Betsill. She was educated at Greenville Women's College, now Furman University. She taught school in Gaffney, where she met and married the late Isadore L. Culler. She was the oldest member of North United Methodist Church. She is predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Betsill; a grandson, David Culler; and a great-grandson, Brian Lawrence. Survivors include a daughter: Betty Culler Jackson, and her husband, Rhett, of Columbia; a son: Bill Culler, and his wife, Martha, of Aiken; five grandchildren: Kay Jackson Lawrence, and her husband, Jack, of Spartanburg; Jim Jackson, and his wife, Mellen, of Anchorage, Alaska; Nancy Culler Courtney, and her husband, Gordon, of Aiken; Sherman Culler, and his wife, Betsy, of Graniteville; and Susan Culler Dingle, and her husband, Henry, of Lexington; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
