LOLITA — Services for Elmer Jack Deyton, 64, of Lolita, who died Friday at his residence, will be conducted at 2 p m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Lolita.
The Rev. Roy Meadows will officiate. Burial will be in Red Bluff Cemetery.
He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on Aug. 14, 1922, to Willard and Dora Gunter Deyton. He was a retired furnace tender for Alcoa. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lolita.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8556.
Surviving are five sisters, Faye Schoonover of Lolita, Essie Lewallen and Frances Stern, both of San Antonio, Mereen Beals of Pasadena and Shereen Ryan of Splendora; and a brother, Harold Deyton of Point Comfort.
Pallbearers will be nephews. Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, is in charge of arrangements.
