From the Konawa Chief Newspaper, Konawa, Seminole County, Oklahoma - Nov 27, 1908:
A.L. Cable died Monday night at home of pneumonia. He was buried Wednesday afternoon at Tyrola.
Born in North Carolina, Mr. Cable was 64 years old.
His wife preceded him by six years.
Survived by three sons and four daughters.
Mr. Cable was a Confederate Soldier and a member of the Baptist church for 24 years.
