50th Anniversay Celebrated
Mr. and Mrs. Arch Dean, Buckhannon, celebrated thier Golden Wedding Anniversay with open house from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday Dec.7 at thier home.
They were married December 3, 1902 at Deanville by the Rev. Pigott. Mr. Dean is the son of the late George and Lucinda Dean and Mrs. Dean is the daughter of the late Gideon Jack and Mrs. Sophia Griffith Jack of Rt.4 Buckhannon. Mr. and Mrs. Dean have been life long residents of Buckhannon, where Mr. Dean is active in farming.
The couple has eight living children: Mrs. Ima McIntire, Mrs. Georgia Smith, Mrs. Juanita Gainor, Mrs. Ruth Nesbitt, Ray Dean and Grant Dean all of Clarksburg; and Dexter and Virgil Dean both of Buckhannon.
