FORMER O.H.S. TEACHER DIES
Friends Receive Word Regarding
Emily Bannister Sprague
Mrs. Emily Bannister Sprague, a former Ogden High School teacher and widow of Clarence B. Sprague, is dead in Seahurst, near Seattle, Wash., friends in Ogden were informed today.
Mrs. Sprague, then Emily Bannister, was graduated from the high school here and then after further study, including post graduate work in Europe, returned to Ogden and taught in the high school for about five years, prior to 1908. Her specialty was German.
She was the daughter of C. K. Bannister, a hydraulic engineer associated with the construction of the power pipe line in Ogden canyon.
Her husband was killed about 10 years ago in an accident near St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake.
Mrs. Sprague leaves two children, Carlyle and Brinton. Her eldest daughter died recently.
