Survivors include wife, Geraldine Walters of Fort Wayne; son, James (Sue) Marker of Fort Wayne; daughter, Terry Putman of Fort Wayne; sister, Edith Overmyer of Rochester; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Media Walters; two brothers; and two sisters. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Albert Bierlein officiating. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
