EARLVILLE, Iowa -- Lorraine E. (Berg) Johnson-Hefel, 79, of Earlville, passed away Friday, May 8, 2009, after a short hospitalization in Dyersville.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Buena Vista, with lunch following. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the parish hall. The Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are her children, Bonnie (Johnson) Lewis, of Earlville, Eugene M. Johnson and Michael D. (Linda) Johnson, both of Dubuque, John L. (Linda) Johnson, of Lakeville, Minn., and Russell L. (Sheila) Johnson, of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marlin (Dorothy) Berg, of Cedar Rapids, and Donald Berg, of Aransas Pass, Texas; and a sister, Gayle (Charles) Larkin, of Waukon.
