Melia (Scott) Short, 69, Tompkinsville, died at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.
Born in Clay County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Zora (Roach) Scott and the wife of Herman Short, who survives.
She is survived by five sons, Arlee, Jackie, Bill and Bobby Short, all of Tompkinsville and R. C. Short of Indiana; one brother, J. C. Scott, and three sisters, Maycel Davis, Marie Kerr and Eva Morris, all of Indiana; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Lester Flippo officiated.
