Requiem high mass was celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Tuesday for Peter Lambrecht, 76, of 42 Ave. C. who died in a local hospital Saturday, at 2:15 a.m.. Mr. Lambrecht had been in ill health seven months. The Rev. David Dwyer was celebrant.
Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Ray Degenhart and Edward, Robert, James, Joseph and Frank Lambrecht. Burial was in Mount View Cemetery.
Mr. Lambrecht was married in Russia in 1894 to Madeline(spelling on death certificate) Jacobs and came to the United States in 1906, settling first in Topeka, Kansas. In 1907 he moved to Garden City, Kansas before moving to Billings in 1914.
Mrs. Lambrecht died in November 1945. Mr. Lambrecht married Monica Lambrecht of Denver, Colo., on May 3,1947. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Adam Degenhart of Rte. 3, Billings, and Mrs. Albert Huddleston of 1125 N. 26th St., and four sons; George, of Rte. 3, Adam of Worden, John of 1824 Clark Ave. and Ralph Lambrecht of 302 Lewis Ave.
Also surviving are 45 grand-children and 51 great grand children.
