MRS. STELLA PENNINGTON, 62, a former Louisvillian, died at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kansas City, Mo. She had lived there since 1952. She is survived by a son, Samuel Pennington, Jr., Kansas City; a stepson, James Pennington; five half-sisters, Mrs. Kenny Mattingly, Mrs. Henry DeVore, Mrs. Murry Drury, Mrs. Ted Hellmann, and Mrs. Herman Meyer; four half-brothers, Emmett, Leslie, Roy, and Wilford Mattingly, and 10 grandchildren. The body will be brought to McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Boulevard, at noon Monday.
