Final Services Held Here Wednesday Afternoon
Mrs. Arthur W. Duecker passed away at the Plymouth hospital on Monday morning at five o'clock after an illness of a week. Death was caused by poisoning following a ruptured appendix. She had been at the hospital since November 8.
The deceased, nee Meta Martha Freitag, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Freitag, who at present reside in Chilton. She was born August 28, 1890, at Chilton, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to A.W. Duecker at Chilton January 1, 1916, the couple moving to Sheboygan Falls, where they made their home until 1921, at which time they moved to Kiel.
During their residence here they lived in the upper flat of Mr. Duecker's mother, Mrs. Augusta Duecker. On September 26 of this year Mr. Duecker purchased the late George Rothmann property at 815 Seventh street, taking up their residence there shortly after. Mr. Duecker is local manager for the Standard Oil Co.
Surviving her besides her husband and her parents are three brothers, August and Fred of Oshkosh, and Albert of Chilton; and two sisters, Mrs. A.C. Butt of Oshkosh and Mrs. L.M. Multer of Mt. Vernon, Mo.
