Miss Eleanor Duecker, 78, formerly of 523 Fremont Street, who had been residing at the Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc, died Wednesday of last week at Manitowoc Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen L. Bowe, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was in the Kiel Cemetery.
Born July 16, 1890 in Kiel, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Adolphina Griebenow Duecker. She was educated in the Kiel Public Schools
When the Kiel Library was organized she was the librarian for 30 years, retiring nine years ago.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Kiel, and the GUG Germania Society.
Only survivors are a sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma Duecker, and nieces and nephews.
