Lorine W. Drews, 88, a former Town of Schleswig resident, died Sunday morning, April 21, 1991, at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein, where she was a resident for one year.
She was born May 13, 1902, in Steinthal (Town of Eaton), daughter of August and Elisabeth (Radder) Drews. She attended Hillside Grove School, in the Town of Schleswig. Lorine and her brother, Hugo, farmed the family homestead in the Town of Schleswig, retiring in 1964. She resided at Diane Manor, in Chilton, from 1979 to 1990. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel and the Chilton Senior Citizens.
Survivors include numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Hugo and Leroy.
