Joyce R. Blosser, 75, of Carrolton, Ga., formerly of Lithia Springs, Ga., died on Saturday, May 1, 2004.
She was born on Nov. 29, 1928, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and was a daughter of the late Fred T. and Annie M. Murphy Mayers.
Mrs. Blosser was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Seventh-day Adventist Conference for more than 35 years and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Dale Franklin Blosser, are a daughter, Sandra Lowe of Marietta, Ga.; three sisters, her twin, Royce Donachy, and Jeanette Reynolds, both of Richmond, and Patsy Ruth Crowe of St. Helena, Calif.; a brother, Fred T. Mayers, Jr. of Richmond; and two granchildren. She was preceded in death by son, William Dale Blosser; a sister, Vertula Bennett; and two brothers, Billy and David Irving Dan Mayers.
A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, May 4, at the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church by Elder Denny Mitchell Burial was in the Stanley Advent Cemetery.
