Stina was the youngest of six children {four daughter & two sons} born to Iver & Ragnhild (Johannesdätter) Ingebrigtsen from the farm/domicile of Snigeldalsø. She also had five more "half siblings" when her father remarried after the death of Ragnhild.
Stina immigrated to America in 1913.
On 16 October 1913, Stina married John Peter Anderson in Frankfort, MI; she was age 26, he was 31. John was the younger of two children born to Anders & Eline Johanne (Magnusdätter) Johansen.
NOTE: John's older sister, Anna Jane Anderson had earlier (1900) married Edward Iverson (Stina's older brother). John & Edward went on to become business partners in Iverson-Anderson Fishing Company, operating out of Frankfort, MI.
