Emery Byrd(b. 4 March 1900 d. 8 Oct. 1926) was the youngest of twelve children from the union of James William Byrd and Frances A. Wiggins. Emery was a sickly child and died at the age of 26. Emery is buried next to his parent in Mount Zion Cemetery, Stapleton Alabama. The property for the cemetery and church was donated by Emery's parents, James William Byrd and Frances Wiggins.
