Services for G.A. "Andy" Stratton will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Swan Funeral Home with Arthur L. Criswell officating. Entombment will be in the Evergreen Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.

 

Mr. Stratton, a retired carpenter who lived at 949 N. 19th St., died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1892 in Crocker, Mo., and had lived here for 50 years. He belonged to the Church of Christ and Carpenters Local 515.


He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nettie V. Stratton; a son, Leo J. Stratton of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Freeda M. Kitchen, also of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Gracie Blanton and Mrs. Olie Lawrence both of Crocker (Missouri), and two brothers, W.M.Strutton of this city and Albert Strutton of Crocker. It is not known why Andy changed the spelling of Strutton to Stratton. He was my great grandfather's cousin. Please notice that his brothers are listed as "Strutton."
