Henry Hall Black, 92, of Chase City, passed away September 18, 2002. He was a retired farmer, a member of Concord Baptist Church and the widower of Edith Gilreath Black. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Johnson, Duncansville, Pa., Carol Puhlick and husband, Daniel Sr., Springfield; sisters, Lula Childers, York, S.C., Nettie Bayne, Chase City; grandsons, Michael Todd Burnette and wife, Katherine, Midlothian, Daniel Paul Puhlick Jr. and wife, Jodi, Gainesville, Brian Hall Puhlick and wife, Leah, Springfield; great-grandchildren, Tyler Paul Puhlick and Peyton Ray Puhlick. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Concord Baptist Church with the Reverend David Blakely officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
