Nettie Black Bayne, 84, of Chase City, died July 10, 2007. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired employee of O'Brien Drug Company.
She was the widow of Samuel W. Bayne and is survived by her sons, Ned Bayne of Chase City, Terry Anthony and wife, Barbara, of Chase City; grandchildren, John Stuart Bayne of Chase City, Rhonda Black of Saxe, Dwayne Anthony of Indiana and Michael Anthony of Lunenburg; great grandchildren, Hailey Bayne and Caroline Bayne.
Graveside services were held Thursday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Cohen Agee officiating. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 73 Meherrin River Rd., Chase City, VA 23924.
