MALLOY – Adelaide A., 93, formerly of Richland, passed away March 4, 2007, at Laurel View Village.
Born March 24, 1913, in Summerhill, daughter of the late John T. and Agnes (Simendinger) Hettle.
Preceded in death by husband, Clair J.; daughter, Claire R. Garber; brother, Reginald J. Hettle; and sister, Agnes Odgers.
Survived by children, Marjorie Malloy, Bear, Del.; Patricia, married to Gene Plummer, Johnstown; and Agnes M., married to Robert Brett Sr., Johnstown; grandchildren, Lynne Dougherty, Kelly Plummer, Anne Baker, Susan Winkelmayer, Gregory Plummer, Michael Lorditch, Robert Brett Jr., Donald Garber, Kristen Ring, Patricia and Paul Garber, Brian Brett and Jennifer Marguccio; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Croyle, Garden City, Mich.
She was a devoted wife, beloved mother and grandmother. A member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal, St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Benedict Church Renovation Fund or Laurel View Village, Davidsville.
