Frank Bahr
Frank Bahr, 90, formerly of 2327 Jackson St. died Monday February 4, 1985 in St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born on November 21, 1894, on St. Joseph's Ridge to Gaberiel and Margaret Clements Bahr. He married Elizabeth Schmitz on October 19, 1921 in LaCrosse and the couple farmed on St. Joseph's Ridge prior to their retirement in 1958 when they moved into LaCrosse.
Bahr was a member of the Catholic Knights.
Survivors are three daughters, Dorothy Pierce and Lorraine Keil, both of LaCrosse, and Janice "Betty" Bahr of Champaign, Illinois, 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1977 and by a daughter and a grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, LaCrosse. Monsignor Anthony Wagener and the Rev. Mark Pierce will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. Friends also may call at the church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the service.
