Mrs. Fannie Ruth Turbitt, wife of Frank H. Turbitt, tax collector for the Sanford school district, died at her home in Sanford this morning of a heart attack. She was 39 years old and was born in Montague, Texas.

Mrs. Turbitt leaves five children, Mrs. Gladys White, Misses Doria and Ella Turbitt, and Frank Jr., all residents of Sanford. Other relatives are her mother, Mrs. Mollie Pollard, Bowie; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Crawford, Noeona, and Mrs. Fay Horton, Bowie, and five brothers, Meredith Pollard, Waurika, Okla.; Lou, Electra, Texas and Bryan, Barton and Tom, of Bowie.

Mrs. Turbitt was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at Sanford and burial will be there.
