Mrs. Martha Headley Wilkinson died Wednesday, March 6, aged 41 years. She was a daughter of Samuel and Nancy Headley, deceased, and was born in Wayne township, Greene County, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1861. In her youth she became a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Episcopal church, later transfering her membership to the Brethren church near Waverly, W. Va. She was a devout Christian woman. On December 25, 1881 she was united in marriage with J. P. Wilkerson, who with the following children survives: Mrs. Myrtle Whitlatch, of Arizona; Mrs. Needa Cox, of Arkansas; Mrs. Wade Lowther, of Ohio; Mrs. Richard McAfee and Elmer Wilkinson, of Waverly, W. Va.; Dolphia Wilkinson, of Brave, Pa., and Nora and Jake Wilkinson, at home. Five brothers and three sisters also survive.
