Lawrence H. Achord died at Baton Rouge General Hospital Monday, from injuries received in a traffice accident Saturday morning. A native of Walker and resident of Baton Rouge, he was 27.

Survivors include the widow, the former Patsy Shingler, Baton Rouge; the mother, Mrs. Beulah Achord, Baton Rouge; one son, Terry; two daughters, Linda and Cynthia; one sister, Mrs. Brady Martin, Denham Springs; three half-sisters, Mrs. Lottie Laine and Mrs. Ira Fortenberry, both of New Orleans, and Mrs. Myrtle Haacks, Baton Rouge; five brothers, Willie, Allen, Melton, Huey and Curtis Achord, all of Baton Rouge, and four half-brothers, Percy, Bob and Wilson Achord, of Walker, and Louis Achord, of Ponchatoula.
