WOODRUFF, JAMES (PAUL)- Of Burton, (Michigan) age 75, passed away Thursday, July 2, 1987, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, July 6, 1987 at the Hill Funeral Home, Grand Blanc, Rev. WILLIAM LONG officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours are 1-9 PM Sunday. Mr. WOODRUFF was born in Essex,Missouri, May 22, 1912 and moved to Flint, (Michigan) in 1930. He was employed by Chevrolet Manufacturing, retiring October 1, 1974. He was a member of UAW Local 659 Retirees Chapter. Surviving are: wife, MARGARET; daughter, PATSY DAVIS of Portage,Michigan; son-in-law, RONALD WASKERWITZ of Grand Blanc; 3 brothers, GRAYDON WOODRUFF of Flint, SAM WOODRUFF of Missouri and QUINTON WOODRUFF of Flint; 4 sisters, BEULAH GROSS of Flint, CHARLENE SITZ of Warren, FAYE HARWOOD of Flint and PEARL PETERSON of Dexter, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, TIMOTHY WASKERWITZ of Flint, JEFF and KIM,
KELSEY, TRISHA, DANE DAVIS all of Portage, Michigan; great-granddaughter, ASHLEE DAVIS of Portage, Michigan; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; many friends. Mr. WOODRUFF was preceded in death by a daughter,
KAREN WASKERWITZ; brothers, ROY and HUBERT AND 3 SISTERS, MARY LOU GRIFFIN, ZELMA MACE and MARJORIE MILLER. A loving husband, father and grandfather will be sadly missed by all.
