Delores Cain Ruple, age 93, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Crossroads Community died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was trained as a bookkeeper and kept the books for the Ruple Family Farm.
She is survived by her children, Lorraine (Brock) Conrad of Columbia, SC, Randall Ruple of Crossroads and Ann (Charles) Harvey of Hattiesburg, MS; son-in-law, Robert Ryan of Martinez, CA; six grandchildren, Brock (Sarah) Conrad, III of Columbia, SC, Max Conrad, II of Columbia, SC, Trish (Donnie) Harrod of Hattiesburg, MS, Charlie Harvey of Hattiesburg, MS, Kim (Alex) Pringle of Chattanooga, TN and Ali (Shawn) Wilkey of Martinez, CA; great grandchildren, Katie Conrad and Nate Conrad both of Columbia, SC, Chase Harrod and Hayden Harrod both of Hattiesburg, MS and Hannah Pringle and Evan Pringle both of Chattanooga, TN.
She was preceded in death by her by husband, Claude Ruple and her daughter, Sue Ruple Ryan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Harrod, Chase Harrod, Bobby Cain, Jerry Cain, Brock Conrad, III and Max Conrad, II.
