Ronald Allen Adkins, age 55, of Bradley Hollow, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009, at his residence.
He was born July 14, 1953, in New Castle, Indiana, son of Hobert Adkins of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and the late Sadie Lucille Keeton Adkins. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Jay Adkins, and one nephew, Bradley Michael Neal.
In addition to his father, Ronnie is survived by three sisters, Patricia Ann Adkins and Diana Sue Adkins, both of Louisa, Kentucky, and Debra Lynn Adkins of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three nephews, Jamie Ray Adkins, Daniel Allen Adkins, and Matthew Taylor Adkins; and one great-nephew, Jamie Ray Adkins, Jr.
He was a carpenter.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2009, at the Bradley Cemetery, Soldier, Kentucky, with the Rev. Phillip Fraley officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Ray Adkins, Sr., Daniel Allen Adkins, Matthew Taylor Adkins, Brian Stevens, Bill Bays, and David (Buck) Caudill.
Visitation is after 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
