Judith L. SPENCER - Of Durand, age 56, died Wednesday, September 12, 2001 at the Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, September 17, 2001 at the Whipple-O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose, Rev. Michael Stark officiating with burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-9 PM and Sunday from 1-9 PM. Judith was born July 26, 1945 in Clio, Michigan, the daughter of the late Erman and Beulah (Griffin) Woolworth. She had resided in the Durand area the past 16 years. Judith married Charles W. Spencer, Decmeber 14, 1963 in Clio. She enjoyed crocheting and ceramics. Surviving are: husband, Charles (Warren); 3 children, Roger and wife Catherine Spencer of Massachusetts, Lisa and husband Timothy Wagoner of Indiana, Deborah and husband Robert Lake of Durand; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Gerald, Alan and James Woolworth; sisters, Betty Watkins and Linda Nielson. Judith was also preceded in death by a brother and 4 sisters.
