Funeral services for Gene Gregg, 59, of Sundown, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Sundown, with Rev. Gil Ramirez, Pastor, Park Drive Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Sundown Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. He died of natural causes at his home on Wednesday, April 29, 2009.

Gene was born to Bob and Jessie Gregg on April 15, 1950, in Ringling, Okla. He married Suzie Johnson on July 10, 1981 in Seminole. Most of his working life was spent in the oil field. He was a member of the National Harley-Davidson Owners Group.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Bobby, Bud, and Charley Gregg. He is survived by his wife, Suzie Gregg, of Sundown; a daughter, Aranda Espinoza and husband, Luciano, of Sundown; two sons, Coy Gregg and Breanna Durrett, of Levelland, and Jeromy Gregg and wife, Laurie, of Allen, Texas; four sisters, Katherine Wade and Odessa Carter, both of Hamilton, Texas, Mary Brooks of Portland, Ore., and Jessie Mae Stewart of Andrews; nine grandchildren, Erika Gregg, Cari Gregg, Aubree Espinoza, Brooke Gregg, Tayton Grant, Emily Gregg, Naomi Espinoza, Macy Espinoza, and Carson Gregg; and several nieces and nephews.
