Private Wick, Stockett, Dies on Italy Front
Private John Wick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Wick, of Stockett, was killed in action Nov. 4, according to word received by relatives here. Private Wick is a nephew of Severt Wick, 115 19th Street North, Great Falls.
Born Oct. 29, 1918, at Trondheim, Norway, Wick came with his family to Great Falls and Stockett in 1925.
Besides his mother and uncle, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edith Kuvola of Stockett and Edwin with the army in Italy.
Private Wick was employed by the smelter before entering the army two years ago.
