Mr. Kelley was born in Ireland and came to this country when a very young man and has been a resident of this town over 50 years.
He was employed by French & Ward, for over 35 years and was for years proprietor of what was called the factory boarding house connected with the French & Ward concern. He was always a man of exemplary character and habits and a friend of all
He leaves a wife, Ellen and four children to mourn his loss and they have the sympathy of the community. They are Mrs. Richard Vanston, Mrs Dennis Mahoney, Lizzie and Timothy Kelley.
The funeral was held from St Mary's church Monday morning, Rev. Jamesa Kieley officiating. The interment was in hte Catholic Cemetery.
