In Roberts Funeral Chapel Monday afternoon the funeral service for Art Stephens, age 68, was held with Rev. C. Hardy, retired Baptist minister, officiating, assisted by Eugene Biby.
Mr. Stephens died at his home in the Christie community Saturday after a lengthy illiness.
He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Members of the Baptist choir sang three hymns, "In the Garden," "Old Rugged Cross" and "Farther Along."
Burial was in the Westville cemetery. He is survived by his wife and three (information incorrect, should be two) sisters.
