RALEIGH - Martha Lane "Patty" Mordecai died September 15, 2004.

The only child of the late Edward Waller and Virginia Borden Mordecai, she was born April 19,1938.
For nearly fifty-six years she lived in Frankfort, Kentucky at the Stewart Home School where, with the loving help of her mother, she enjoyed tender supportive care. For the past several years, she resided at a health care facility in Lexington, Kentucky.
Her closest relatives are twenty-one first cousins whom she was unable to know but who fondly remember her parents.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 11:30 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Inquiries may be made to Helen and Murphy Evans in Raleigh.
