The funeral for Mrs. Margaret M. Bergman, 82, 786 Osage, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Bergman died today in St. John Hospital. She was born Jan. 4, 1895, at Leavenworth, the daughter of John and Mary Madden Rafter. She was a life long Leavenworth resident.
She was a member of St. Joseph Carmelite Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the Loyal Christian Benefit Association, the church's Altar Society, the Eagles Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Army Mothers and Golden Age Club.
Survivors include three sons, George Bergman, 1931 Ottawa, John Bergman, 217 E. Mary, Lansing, Robert Bergman, 1901 Osage; a daughter, Mrs. Harry W. (Peggy) Jerrit, 1407 Randolph; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends and members of the parish will recite the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorials to the church, St. Joseph Hospital or the Cancer Fund.
