Port Jervis - Services for Mervyn C. Hosking, a former resident of this city, who died yesterday in Potsville, Pa.; will be held on Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Spangenburg, six Jones street.
Mr. Hosking was born May twenty-eighth, 1895, a son of William and Mary Brown Hosking. He had lived in Port Jervis most of his life and married the former Eva May Romyns here on October twenty-seventh, 1917.
Besides his wife and daughter, Mrs. Spangenburg, he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Fred Berger of Monroe and Mrs. Roland Riegel of Potsville, Pa., and seven grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
The Rev. Robert S. Jones, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate at the services and interment will be in the Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.
