A bitter fate has hit Mr. Edward Baumann in that on Sunday evening, the wife and mother, died in the prime of her life, after relentless struggle.
The cause of death was blood poisoning. The deceased was the daughter of Frank Raquet and first saw the light of the world in Town Schleswig on May 8, 1871 and reached the age of 34 years, 4 months and 16 days. The marriage, which took place in 1892 with Mr. Baumann produced three children, two boys and one girl. They have lived in Kiel continuously since they were married. Besides the grieving husband and children she leaves behind her mother and 12 siblings. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with Pastor Rech (St. Peter UCC) officiating and burial was at the Kiel Cemetery. The very shocked family is extended our deepest sympathy.
