Mrs. Jones died at Columbia Heights Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a native of Caldwell Parish, a homemaker and a member of the Clarks Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert W. Jones.
Survivors include her brothers, Mr. Gordon Whitten, Sr., Mr. Trowley Whitten, both of Grayson, and Mr. Rudolph Whitten of Monroe; sister, Mrs. Clellon Whitten Blue of Vicksburg, Miss.; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Eddie Whitten, Guy Whitten, Godfrey Whitten, Harold Blue, William Conrad Whitten and Larry Taylor.
