Charlie Palmer, died at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma, last Thursday night, aged 60 years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and the interment was held at Wagoner. Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife, a son, Wallace Palmer, and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Brown and Miss Helen Palmer. Mr. Palmer was born in Wisconsin. He came to Lebanon about the year 1874. He was engaged in the mercantile business at Stoutland for a time, returning to Lebanon. Mr. Palmer served one term as Collector of Laclede County. About 20 years ago he moved to Wagoner, where he had since been engaged in business. Besides his immediate family he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bird Gibbons of Wagoner, and Mrs. Mary P. Wallace of Houston, Texas, who attended the funeral. Mr. Palmer had been in failing health for about a year. Many friends here will regret to know of his passing out from this life. Mr. Palmer, by his life, was always held in high esteem by those among whom his life was spent.
