BURCHFIELD Reuben Leroy, age 64, of Del City, passed away Monday, May 22, 2000. Born Feb. 13, 1936 in Mt. Carmel, TN to Charles and Bessie Myer Burchfield. He married Wonda Renner on December 2, 1956. Reuben retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 and also retired from Ralston Purina in 1999. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Del City.

Survived by wife, Wonda G. Burchfield; daughters, Glee Rhodes, Americus, GA, Duane Burchfield, Del City, OK, Marie Schwarz and husband, Cory, So. Milwaukee, WI: grandson, Shane Rhodes; brothers, Charles Burchfield and Jimmy Burchfield, Macon, GA; sisters, Nici Becker, Macon, GA, Katie Tilden, Kingsport, TN and Freddie Pratt, Church Hill, TN.

He is preceded in death by son, Reuben L. Burchfield, Jr., parents, sisters, Marie Parker, Audrey Poe, Shirley Wade, Martha Taub, and brother, John Burchfield.

Services will be Thursday, May 25, First Southern Baptist Church of Del City. Burial will be in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
