Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Allie Viola Oyler Dunn, passed away February 27, 1996, at Garden Terrace Care Center after a long illness.

She was 96. Allie was born in Lamar, Colorado on October 27, 1899, a daughter of George and Agnes Oyler. She married Charles Albert Dunn on September 17, 1919, in Manassa, Colorado.

In 1923, they moved to Utah, living in Bingham Canyon for many years. After World War II, they moved to Murray. Allie enrolled at Salt Lake Community College and became a dedicated and caring licensed practical nurse. She worked at Veterans Hospital where she received numerous Nurse of the week, month, year awards. After retiring in 1970, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she continued to work, taking care of elderly patients until returning to Murray in 1976.

She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. She loved her children, grandchildren, pet dog (Teacup), and gardening. She was a truly remarkable lady.
