Stanfill Corbin died at his home near Rome City June 7, 1898, aged 84 years, one month and 20 days. He was born in Culpeper County, Va., April 18, 1814. In his youth he moved to Ohio where he married Margaret Lee. They had 9 children, 3 of whom survive. On February 4, 1859 he married Harriet Weirich and one child was born to them. He leaves a companion and 4 children. Funeral was at Jones Chapel. Burial, Green Cemetery. Noble Democrat 6-16-1898
