Willa F. "Willie" Langley, 76, of Brazoria passed Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Cypress Woods Care Center in Angleton, Texas. She was born on March 7, 1931, to Otis Eugene and Velvia Langley in Waldron, Arkansas.
Willie was a member of Brazoria First Assembly Church in Brazoria, Texas. She had a passion for sewing, working puzzles, drawing and painting T-shirts.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Maurice Ellis and R.C. Langley.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Murphy and husband, Phillip W., of Brazoria; brother, Kelly Langley and wife, Bonita, of Waldron, Arkansas; sister, Shirley Washenberger and husband, Dale, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandchildren, James Able and fiancée, Rebecca Ducharme, of Lake Jackson and Jack Able and wife, Lisa, of Santa Fe; great-grandchildren, James Michael Able and fiancée, Chelsie, John Aaron Able, Taylor Paul Able and Jordan Wayne Able, all of Lake Jackson, Meagan Brooke Able and Jackson Grant Able, both of Sweeny, and Annallyssa Esclavon and Emilio Guzman, both of Santa Fe; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Brazoria First Assembly Church in Brazoria with Pastor Dale Frankum officiating.
Interment will follow at Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Murphy, James Able, Jack Able, Michael Able, Aaron Able and Jackson Able.
